Magical Nights
Two close friends of Ruben's got married this summer. They actually got married on the SAME WEEKEND! So, we went wedding hopping this past weekend. The weddings in Spain are so beautiful and so elaborate. It always feels like a fairy-tale ball that lasts all night.
The first wedding was Joan Pau and Cibely. Joan Pau and Ruben have been friends since the teenage years. He's been a faithful friend to Ruben over the years. Cibely is from Brazil so it was fun to note some of the small differences in ceremony from culture to culture. They got married in the same church that we did so it brought back lots of fun memories of our wedding not too long ago.
The following day we saw Fernando and Sara tie the knot. Ruben and Fernando have worked together at the same company for a long time. They keep each other company and have become friends over the years. Fernando and Sara came to visit us several times when I was in the hospital. It was an honor to be able to celebrate this special day with them.
